Description

Oversee the lifecycle of MSF SITS software applications: development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Ensure applications are functional, secure, and up to date with the latest security patches, while designing architecture for new applications or improving existing ones. Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver application value, support users, and align application management with organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage software application development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Ensure functionality, security, and timely updates with security patches
• Design application architecture; develop new applications or improve existing ones
• Coordinate with Cloud & Infrastructure, Data Management, Data Protection, Service Desk, and Security teams
• Align application management with organizational strategic goals
• Provide technical support and training to users
• Gather stakeholder requirements and provide updates to ensure alignment
• Optimize and improve internal processes and applications across MSF SITS and the wider organization

Requirements

• Understanding of software design and structure (e.g., MVC, OOP) plus security and data protection
• Ability to code, understand, replicate, troubleshoot, and maintain high code quality
• Relational databases and data warehouse management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including application deployment/management, security, data protection, scalability, and reliability
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (GitLab/GitHub/Azure DevOps), and automated testing
• Preference for Agile/Scrum experience
• ITIL knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with AI and Generative AI with emphasis on security, privacy, and responsible use
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to build relationships
• Leadership capability: proactive, able to inspire/motivate, delegate, guide, and support
• Adaptability and independent learning
• Preferably a Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
• Adherence to MSF principles and behavioral commitments
