Description

Build embedded and industrial software for edge computing, primarily using Rust on Linux. You will own technical solutions from requirements and architectural decisions through implementation and operation. You’ll collaborate with customer engineers and work with AI coding agents as part of the development workflow, ensuring software quality through review and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software for embedded devices and industrial computers

• Take ownership of technical solutions, from understanding requirements and making architectural decisions through implementation and operation

• Work with customer engineers to clarify requirements, make technical decisions, and support integration

• Contribute to code reviews and help the team maintain reliable, maintainable software

• Work extensively with AI coding agents: guide their work, review and test results, and retain ownership of technical decisions and software quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering and maintaining production software

• Ability to independently solve complex engineering problems and evaluate trade-offs

• Strong computer science foundation, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems

• Experience developing software on Linux

• Practical approach to software design, testing, debugging, and maintainability

• Clear communication and ability to collaborate with colleagues and customer engineers

• Deep proficiency in at least one programming language and willingness to learn and work with Rust
