Description

You will develop, maintain, and optimize operating system components, drivers, and service tools for PC scales running on Linux (x86/ARM). The role includes building and improving C++ applications with Qt, managing build and CI/CD pipeline updates, and supporting security and feature releases. You will also contribute to visualization and containerization efforts and work with international, cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Linux operating system components, drivers, and service tools for PC scales (x86/ARM)
• Implement and develop applications in C++ with Qt
• Maintain and shape build and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Ensure regular security and feature updates
• Support visualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in an international setting
• Contribute to agile project management (Scrum, SAFe), document and review code, and support knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Completed degree in software development
• Several years of relevant experience in the role
• Very good C++ knowledge, ideally with Qt
• Solid experience with the Linux operating system
• Ability to quickly learn new topics in a flexible environment
• Negotiation-level German and fluent English
