• Compensation: €82,100 to €108,500 (plus benefits)

Description

You will develop and embed the organization’s data governance framework by defining and operationalizing data standards, roles, and processes together with business areas and IT. You will configure and integrate data governance/data management tools, implementing metadata management, data catalog, business glossary, and data lineage. You will also establish data quality rules with automated monitoring and reporting, analyze causes of issues, and enable governance adoption in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Further develop and implement the data governance framework, embedding data standards, roles, and processes
• Configure and maintain data governance and data management tools; drive integration into data platforms and system landscapes
• Implement metadata management, data catalog, business glossary, and data lineage; support data stewards in day-to-day usage
• Develop data quality rules, automated monitoring, and DQ reporting; analyze root causes and ensure durable remediation
• Operationalize data ownership, governance standards, and DQ incident management to empower business units

Requirements

• Degree in information management, business administration, or comparable
• Hands-on experience with data governance and data management; ideally experience with data governance tools
• Experience analyzing governance structures, identifying gaps, and optimizing potential
• Ability to communicate data governance concepts to technical teams, business stakeholders, and management
• Very good German and good English
