Description

You will strengthen the team responsible for Windows Server infrastructure and help ensure smooth, reliable server operations. The position focuses on building resilient system architectures, automating Windows server operations, administering Microsoft applications and services (especially AD, PKI, SharePoint), and performing continuous monitoring. You will also support and advise employees and IT stakeholders on DV/IT technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Further develop Windows Server infrastructure and ensure trouble-free server operation

• Design fail-safe system architectures

• Automate IT operations for the Windows Server environment

• Set up, configure, and run applications and operating systems within the Windows Server environment

• Administer applications and services in the Microsoft environment (especially AD, PKI, SharePoint)

• Perform continuous system monitoring using monitoring tools

• Provide professional support and technical consulting to employees and IT owners on DV technical questions

Requirements

• Degree in a MINT field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering) or a qualified IT apprenticeship (e.g., IT specialist for systems integration)

• Relevant professional experience with Microsoft Server administration, including troubleshooting complex server landscapes (Windows Server clusters)

• Secure handling of current Windows Server operating systems and virtualization software

• Strong scripting and object-oriented programming knowledge, ideally PowerShell

• Practical knowledge in IT security and DevOps

• Fluent German (at least B2) and good English skills (written and spoken)

• Willingness to take on on-call duty, including outside regular business hours

• High commitment, reliability, and responsibility

• Strong analytical and communication skills
