Description

You will administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments and hybrid Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online mail systems. The position focuses on ensuring continuity of infrastructure services, diagnosing and resolving incidents and technical problems, and implementing security updates and vulnerability remediation. You will collaborate with network, virtualization, backup, and application teams, and participate in backup/restore procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure
• Administer and maintain hybrid Exchange email environments and Exchange Online
• Ensure continuity and availability of infrastructure systems and services
• Diagnose and fix incidents, outages, and technical problems at system and application level
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Remediate security vulnerabilities identified by scanning tools, audits, and vendor recommendations
• Install, test, and deploy security patches and updates for OS and applications
• Work with network, virtualization platform, backup, and application administrators
• Participate in backup and restore procedures for system environments

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Exchange Online
• Several years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, and Microsoft directory services
• Knowledge of Windows security mechanisms
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Ability to analyze system logs
• Experience operating in production environments with high availability
• Experience performing security activities and removing vulnerabilities
• Experience implementing security updates and patches for operating systems and applications
