Description

You will be responsible for the holistic administration and further development of the internal IT system landscape, primarily in a Windows environment. The role includes operating server, client, and user environments, managing Active Directory and user/permissions concepts, and supporting on-prem and cloud systems. You will also ensure stable IT operations through monitoring, backup, and recovery, while handling 2nd-level support tasks such as troubleshooting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and further develop internal IT systems

• Operate and support server, client, and user environments in the Windows environment

• Manage Active Directory and user/permissions concepts

• Administer virtual environments and on-prem and cloud systems

• Ensure stable IT operations including monitoring, backup, and recovery

• Analyze, resolve, and document incidents in 2nd-level support

• Support IT projects (system migrations, rollouts, automation)

• Optimize IT processes and IT security measures

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/w/d) or equivalent; alternatively a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or IT Security

• Solid knowledge in Windows system administration

• Strong baseline understanding of networks, firewalls, and IT security

• Experience with virtualization, backup systems, or cloud services is a plus

• Secure German and good English skills (written and spoken)

• Patient team player with strong communication and service orientation

• Quick learner with confident appearance, engagement, and resilience
