Description

You will provide hands-on IT support and actively develop the IT environments of mid-sized customers in the Hannover region. The role focuses on analyzing existing structures, identifying risks and improvement potential, and implementing appropriate solutions while communicating technical topics clearly to customers and decision-makers. You will also implement and maintain security, backup, and email protection solutions within established Microsoft infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Support mid-sized customers in the Hannover region and continuously improve their IT
• Analyze current IT structures, identify risks, and implement improvement measures
• Configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and deliver practical, hands-on support
• Take ownership of solutions and explain technical topics; coordinate specialists/sales when needed

Requirements

• Multi-year practical IT experience
• Allrounder profile: comfortable with hands-on operational IT work and able to understand complex structures
• Openness to AI and new tools
• Confident customer-facing communication with clients and decision-makers
• Initiative and responsibility; identify where IT can be improved, secured, or made more efficient
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Client & Server and Microsoft 365
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and classic Microsoft infrastructures
• Experience installing and configuring Sophos firewalls
• Proficiency with backup and data protection using Veeam
• Proficiency with email security/security solutions from Hornetsecurity
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, virtualization, and typical SMB IT environments
• PowerShell and automation are a plus
• German proficiency: at least C1
