Description

You support and develop IT for mid-sized customers in the Hannover region. You analyze existing IT structures, identify risks and improvement potential, and implement solutions hands-on, while explaining technical topics clearly to clients and coordinating specialists or sales when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and continuously improve customer IT environments

  • Analyze current infrastructure, recognize risks, and implement improvements

  • Configure systems and troubleshoot errors—hands-on work is part of the role

  • Take responsibility for technical topics and communicate them understandably; involve specialists or sales when necessary

Requirements

  • Multi-year practical IT experience (certificates not decisive)

  • All-rounder profile: comfortable with operational technology and able to grasp complex structures

  • Openness to AI and new tools for automation, improved processes, and new solutions

  • Confident handling of customers and decision-makers with clear, understandable communication

  • Initiative, responsibility, and the ability to spot where IT can be better, safer, or more efficient

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Client & Server and Microsoft 365

  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and classic Microsoft infrastructure

  • Installation and configuration experience with Sophos Firewalls

  • Backup and data protection experience with Veeam

  • Experience with email security/security solutions from Hornetsecurity

  • Network fundamentals, virtualization, and typical mid-market IT environments

  • PowerShell and automation are a plus

  • ~5 years of IT administration experience is desirable

  • German level C1 required
