Description

Take full ownership of the internal tool ecosystem and IT operations, with a focus on security, access control, integrations, cost management, and operational continuity. You will establish governance and standards, improve how tools are provisioned and protected, and ensure employees have seamless, secure access. The role is hands-on and high-impact, supporting reliable systems across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Tenant-level administration of Microsoft 365, including configuration, security settings, and feature management

  • Manage the full user lifecycle: provisioning, role assignment, license management, and offboarding

  • Design and enforce access control policies (group structures, permissions, role-based access)

  • Administer and continuously improve internal tools including Slack, Jira, Confluence, and others

  • Support teams with workflow and collaboration structures

  • Manage vendors, renewals, and license optimization to control costs

  • Build and maintain secure integrations between internal tools

  • Automate operational processes such as onboarding/offboarding, license provisioning, and access requests

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and operational procedures

  • Monitor critical tools and lead incident responses for outages, access issues, and integration failures

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 at the tenant level (user lifecycle, groups, roles, licensing, security settings, integrations)

  • Strong understanding of access control principles: authentication, authorization, SSO, and identity management

  • Experience administering Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), including workflow design and governance

  • Demonstrated ability to establish scalable governance standards across a tooling ecosystem and improve operations independently

  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Knowledge of security frameworks and controls (ISO 27001, SOC 2)

  • Experience supporting quality management processes aligned to ISO 13485

  • Interest in AI technologies and practical understanding of how AI can support IT operations, system administration, and automation
