Description

You ensure IT runs reliably from end-user workstations to local infrastructure in Wuppertal, supporting users both in person and remotely. You handle incidents and service requests for hardware, software, and network, while keeping access, licenses, and devices documented and auditable. You also support CI/CD and deployments using GitHub Actions and cloud tooling, and you own building an ISMS and driving ISO-27001 certification end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable IT operations across workplace and local infrastructure
• Act as first point of contact; resolve incidents and service requests (hardware, software, network) in person and remotely
• Select new systems/solutions with a focus on what matters most
• Maintain clean, traceable processes for access, licenses, and devices
• Embed GDPR/security/transparency as lived practice in both products and internal IT
• Plan and support IT projects (rollouts, hardware refreshes, new tools)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and perform deployments (GitHub Actions) for the products
• Identify process improvements and implement them, including documentation
• Contribute ideas for smart automation of internal tools and processes
• Collaborate with product and development teams for workplace setup and internal tools
• Build the ISMS and take end-to-end responsibility for ISO-27001 certification

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience with completed IT training or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (e.g., Azure, Docker)
• Secure handling of Windows and Apple systems and Microsoft 365
• Strong understanding of IT landscapes (strengths and risks)
• Willingness to actively build an ISMS and be responsible for ISO-27001 certification end-to-end
• Service mindset, quality focus, and structured calm incident handling
• Practical experience with MongoDB Atlas, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jira, VPNs; knowledge in backup management
• Interest in or first experience with the real estate industry or document-heavy processes
• Secure German language skills (written and spoken)
