Description

You will take technical ownership of a mature enterprise IT infrastructure and shape future architecture, standards, and the technology roadmap. This role combines infrastructure architecture, operational excellence, security, and mentoring, with strong emphasis on improving cybersecurity and regulatory readiness (including NIS2/KSC). You will also modernize and standardize complex ICT and OT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own IT infrastructure architecture, standards, technology decisions, and the development roadmap

  • Design, develop, migrate, and optimize virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V

  • Maintain and evolve highly available infrastructure and Disaster Recovery across multiple locations

  • Design and maintain clustering, replication, backup, and tested disaster recovery solutions

  • Design and improve enterprise networking and security solutions (FortiGate, VLANs, segmentation, routing, SD-WAN, VPN)

  • Drive modernization and standardization of multiple ICT and OT network environments (inventory, segmentation, monitoring, security)

  • Contribute to cybersecurity and regulatory readiness (NIS2/KSC risk management, vulnerability management, hardening, monitoring, incident response, documentation)

  • Develop and maintain storage environments based on SAN/NAS technologies

  • Automate recurring infrastructure operations and deployments using PowerShell, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code

  • Maintain and improve monitoring and logging across the infrastructure environment

  • Provide technical leadership through mentoring, configuration reviews, knowledge sharing, and common technical standards

  • Support complex infrastructure incidents as third-line support

  • Lead infrastructure implementations end-to-end (architecture/technology selection through deployment and transition into operations)

  • Collaborate with technology vendors, external partners, and internal business stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of senior-level IT infrastructure experience with proven architectural or solution design responsibilities

  • Expert-level Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge (GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI/ADCS)

  • Expert-level hands-on virtualization experience (VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and/or Hyper-V)

  • Strong experience designing and maintaining High Availability and Disaster Recovery (clustering, replication, tested recovery procedures)

  • Strong enterprise networking and firewall knowledge (FortiGate, VLANs, segmentation, routing, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN)

  • Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication

  • Practical SAN/NAS storage knowledge (iSCSI, multipathing, LUNs, datastores, capacity planning)

  • Strong cybersecurity awareness and practical experience with hardening, vulnerability management, access management, and incident response

  • Ability to design and implement infrastructure solutions end-to-end

  • Hands-on technical mindset with independent troubleshooting of complex infrastructure issues

  • Ability to act as technical authority: architectural decisions, standards, and mentoring

  • Good English skills for documentation and collaboration with vendors and international stakeholders
