Description

Lead an IT operations team responsible for central IT platforms and ensure systems run reliably and with high performance. You will further develop technical priorities and security/compliance measures, support installation and monitoring of complex systems, and coordinate 3rd-level support for core systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for your team (Linux, SAP Basis, SRE, databases)

• Continuously develop technical focus areas and strategies

• Implement security-relevant measures while keeping standards and compliance in mind

• Support installation, monitoring, and operation of complex IT systems (from classic servers to modern platform services)

• Support certification and quality assurance in IT operations

• Coordinate 3rd-level support and drive efficient resolution paths for incidents and problems

Requirements

• Completed (applied) university degree in IT or completed IT apprenticeship with relevant professional experience

• Solid knowledge of Linux administration and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and databases

• Practical experience in SAP Basis administration (ideally SAP R/3 and/or S/4HANA)

• Structured and analytical working style with initiative and strategic thinking

• Team-oriented, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and lead people

• Excellent German skills (at least C1) in speech and writing
