Description

You will own the build/test/deploy pipeline for the engineering monorepo and improve the end-to-end path to production so teams can ship quickly and safely. The role includes multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure support, plus driving testing excellence and better operational monitoring to catch issues before they reach production. You’ll also contribute to feature code development as needed and use onboarding to understand and improve the current development flow.

Responsibilities

• Own the build/test/deploy workflow as a single-threaded owner and ensure each team can work within it effectively

• Improve monorepo productivity by untangling build/test/deploy patterns and implementing build acceleration tooling (e.g., TurboRepo)

• Drive testing excellence with top-down and team-level visibility into test coverage across a growing matrix of data sources, destinations, and enrichment patterns

• Support multi-region and multi-cloud backend expansion, including launching into new regions for data residency requirements

• Improve operational excellence to catch issues before production and respond quickly when incidents occur

• Deliver projects end-to-end with high ownership and collaborate across teams

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering experience with measurable developer productivity improvements through high-leverage build/test/deploy changes

• Strong software development fundamentals and comfort driving framework-level improvements across multiple teams

• Experience in developer productivity teams/functions or as the “build person” in a fast-growing startup

• Ability to dive into feature code and complicated backend code when needed
