Description

You will build and own core managed PaaS services (e.g., DBaaS, RaaS, MLOpsaaS) with full end-to-end responsibility, from Kubernetes integration to APIs and documentation. The role includes developing PaaS service components, designing multi-tenant, large-scale solutions, and partnering with Product Manager on business requirements. You will also prototype new solutions and improve existing code with a strong focus on security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and engineering quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop components that make up PaaS services

  • Design solutions for multi-tenant environments and high-scale systems

  • Collaborate with a Product Manager to deliver business requirements

  • Create prototypes and proof of concept for new solutions

  • Extend existing code and implement new components

  • Make technical decisions considering security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability

  • Ensure code quality via code reviews, automated tests, refactoring, and engineering best practices

  • Diagnose complex issues across PaaS services, shared services, and cloud infrastructure

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams

  • Create and maintain documentation and standards

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Python

  • Practical knowledge of at least one framework: FastAPI, Flask, or Django

  • REST API design knowledge (CRUD operations, error handling, data validation, versioning)

  • Experience implementing persistence using SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis), including data modeling and migrations

  • Kubernetes knowledge enabling independent deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of your services

  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) as a regular part of engineering workflow
