Description

Develop and deploy robust security tooling and automation for Product Security. You will build a platform of applications, APIs, and frameworks that helps engineers safeguard a global, multi-cloud production environment. The role includes SRE excellence, CI/CD, datastore operations, performance monitoring, and security automation for use cases such as software supply chain security and AI-powered vulnerability discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute technically on a global Product Security engineering team by building and operating scalable systems

  • Design and implement software and automation tools for security use cases (software supply chain security, AI-powered vulnerability discovery, multi-cloud visibility)

  • Partner with Product Security teams on security tooling strategy via risk assessments and architectural deep dives

  • Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services, including performance monitoring and response processes

Requirements

  • Experience in a Software Engineering role (event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation/monitoring tools)

  • Experience developing with Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or TypeScript

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies

  • Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, SQS, etc.), including production ownership for health, capacity, and maintenance

  • Experience managing end-to-end SDLC (design, implementation, delivery) with stakeholder engagement

  • Experience with Generative AI using LLMs (productivity tooling and/or building LLM-based services)

  • Experience with configuration management & orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, etc.)

  • Experience in Product Security (product platforms and/or customer-facing applications); SaaS background is a bonus

  • Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape including adversaries, modes of interest, and TTPs

  • Experience monitoring/analyzing telemetry data from applications and infrastructure

  • Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response

  • Experience with cloud-scale, business-critical Linux environments

  • Experience operating in the cloud, preferably AWS or GCP
