Description

You will design, optimize, and operate infrastructure for critical applications with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and performance. The role includes automating IT processes and deployments, contributing to containerization strategy, and working closely with development teams on CI/CD pipelines. You will also troubleshoot production issues and help with capacity planning and ongoing operational maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize infrastructure for hosting critical applications
• Improve and automate IT processes to increase efficiency
• Contribute to containerization strategy and support scalable container virtualization
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline workflows
• Automate deployment and testing for fast, reliable, repeatable releases
• Manage application deployment lifecycle (install new versions, operational maintenance, proactive incident resolution)
• Plan capacity and tune running applications for top performance
• Administer Linux servers, ensuring stability, security, and optimal configuration
• Coordinate and resolve customer-reported issues with support teams
• Innovate with technical ideas and solutions

Requirements

• Practical experience with Linux, Docker, and Git, plus network knowledge
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure on Windows Server is an advantage (Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP)
• Active knowledge of orchestration in Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl
• CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab)
• Knowledge of web servers or load balancers (Apache, Nginx, Proxy/LB)
• Awareness of SQL and Redis; application administration on Java or .NET is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, independence, and ability to see problems through
• Team spirit, proactive attitude, and attention to detail
• Czech/Slovak and strong English for documentation and professional communication
