Description

Join as a Senior Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to architect and lead the development of next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware. You will drive innovation in complex PCBA designs utilizing FPGA SoCs, working with multidisciplinary engineers in a dedicated product development lab. Responsibilities include system-level hardware architecture, high-speed/mixed-signal circuit development, validation, and coordination across FPGA/firmware and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead complex PCB designs incorporating FPGA SoCs
• Drive system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements
• Lead new product introduction (NPI) processes with contract manufacturers
• Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits
• Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance, thermal, and signal integrity requirements
• Define hardware interfaces and requirements with FPGA/firmware teams
• Lead design reviews and drive technical consensus across teams
• Mentor junior engineers and establish hardware engineering best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience with DFx (design for cost, test, manufacturing)
• 10+ years of new hardware products development experience
• Experience in motherboard design and PCB design including schematic capture, stackup, and circuit board layout
• Experience with FPGA SoC hardware integration, hardware validation, and debugging
• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
