Description

Design and own complex electronic subsystems for advanced scientific instruments. You will combine high-speed digital design, precision analog electronics, data acquisition, power management, and FPGA-based hardware—delivering solutions from concept and schematic through board bring-up and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital electronic circuits for scientific instruments
• Independently plan and execute technical work for hardware subsystems
• Translate technical challenges into clear requirements and practical electronic solutions
• Design board-level hardware using processors/MPUs, FPGAs, high-speed memory, ADCs, DACs, and communication interfaces
• Create schematics, contribute to PCB and layout decisions, and perform prototype validation and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with physics, mechanics, firmware, software, manufacturing, and systems engineering experts
• Apply high-speed design, EMC, electrical safety, and Design for Manufacturing best practices
• Influence technical decisions within larger R&D projects and propose improvements
• Share expertise and support less experienced colleagues
