Description

You will lead complex, high-quality content and eCommerce projects using Agile methods, working closely with the Programme Manager/Account Director to achieve productivity goals. The role focuses on managing workstreams, interdependencies, blockers, status reporting, and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Run complex projects using Agile methodologies

• Resolve issues and blockers to support efficient workflow

• Provide accurate status reporting on milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues for stakeholders and sponsors

• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure teams understand expected output and quality

• Coordinate interdependencies across workstreams

• Inspire and lead teams, including those with little Agile experience

• Motivate teams to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timeframes

• Improve delivery processes

• Support Junior Project Managers

• Review and update the project resource plan and control project budgets

• Build credibility with senior management and business stakeholders

• Understand customer needs and deliver first-class solutions

• Set and manage client expectations, including resolving client escalations with diplomacy

• Chair meetings/reviews with multiple stakeholder requirements

• Stay current with emerging industry practices

Requirements

• Proven software development Project Management experience

• eCommerce experience, ideally in a retail environment

• Hands-on experience on web content management (CMS) or Digital Experience Platform (DXP) projects

• Experience managing requirements for content architecture, page templates, component libraries, editorial/publishing workflows, or content migrations

• Proven experience managing re-platforming projects and owning the cutover process

• Proven experience controlling scope within project delivery

• Experience delivering change to external stakeholders on eCommerce platform projects

• Experience working on Content and Experience projects

• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management

• Ability to define, manage, and deliver to customer expectations within strict deadlines

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and respond to change with critical thinking

• Experience leading and managing teams across the team lifecycle

• Experience with modern software development practices

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery techniques and lean ways of working

• Experience managing people and financial budgets (budgeting, monitoring financials, reporting)

• Solid time management and organizational skills

• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to handle sensitive issues with tact

• Relevant Project Management qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
