E-Commerce Project Manager

Senior • On-site

70,000 - 70,000 EUR/yr

Munich, BY, Germany

Quick Facts

Role: E-Commerce Project Manager (end-to-end project leadership for digital and E-commerce initiatives). Focus: measurable impact, product thinking, and AI-enabled workflows. Work is primarily on-site.

Description

You lead end-to-end E-commerce projects—from discovery and concept through kickoff, go-live, and the time after launch—coordinating between German-speaking customers and development teams in Poland. You ensure delivery control and measurable impact by defining KPIs and a tracking concept for before/after results. You bring technical fluency around APIs, PIM/ERP, and integrations to align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects end-to-end: discovery, concept, kickoff, go-live, and post-launch operations
  • Be the main contact for German-language customers and the bridge to Poland-based development teams
  • Translate customer needs into clean solutions and feed team ideas back to the customer
  • Drive measurable impact: KPIs plus a tracking approach for proof of change
  • Operate like a Product Owner: challenge features, design, and priorities; pause delivery when business value is unclear
  • Keep plans, timing, budgets, and status reporting reliable
  • Moderate meetings, workshops, sprint plannings, and retros
  • Identify risks early and act before they become issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project leadership in digital environments or E-commerce (idea through operations)
  • Technical ability to discuss APIs, PIM, ERP, and integrations with development teams
  • Scrum and Kanban experience
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Miro
  • German (C2) and very good English
  • Roadmap creation skills: backlog, milestones, budget, and timing
  • Use AI tools day-to-day or be eager to adopt them in the coming months
  • Strong execution under pressure (imminent deadlines and current issues)
  • Required: experience with either PIM (Pimcore) or ERP (Odoo)
  • Nice to have: merchant-side experience and/or Shopware and/or Magento
  • Nice to have: similar-system experience (Akeneo, Contentserv, SAP, Business Central)

Benefits

  • Innovation budget and learning budget including certifications
  • Flexible working hours and home office
  • On-site office in TRI Munich (rooftop terrace) and MVV ticket
  • MacBook Pro and iPhone
  • Team events in Germany and Poland
  • Coffee, drinks, and fruit
