Description

Lead software projects from needs diagnosis through delivery and ongoing maintenance, working closely with development and QA teams. You will manage client communication and oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk while ensuring project data is accurate and up to date in tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. You’ll also support improvements to delivery processes and internal work standards, contributing to technical discussions on architecture and technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Run software projects end-to-end: from discovery of needs to implementation and maintenance

• Collaborate daily with developers and QA, including refinement, planning, and technical discussions

• Manage client relationships: status updates, scope negotiations, expectation management, and handling difficult situations

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and project risk

• Ensure quality and timeliness of project data in project tools (Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, reporting systems, internal tools)

• Improve the software production process and internal work standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in a software house

• Practical knowledge of the software production process and project lifecycle (including repository work)

• Knowledge of CI/CD, environments, code review, and testing processes sufficient to hold technical discussions with the team

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to adapt them to project context

• Independence and resourcefulness to drive tasks to completion

• Very good communication skills and professional self-presentation with clients

• Composure under changing conditions and in crisis situations

• Careful documentation and management of project data

• English level B2+ for communication with international clients
