Description

You will work directly with customers as part of the service desk, supporting the installation and configuration of IT systems, performing maintenance, and helping resolve hardware and software incidents. You will also qualify and route requests in coordination with the support team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone and email
• Install and configure IT systems
• Support error analysis and incident resolution
• Perform maintenance tasks
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Capture and qualify incidents, requests, and requirements related to customer hardware and software
• Qualify requests with the support team and transfer them into the ticketing system
• Provide independent ad-hoc solutions and initiate workarounds
• Optimize and update the knowledge base
• Forward unresolved tasks to the relevant specialist departments

Requirements

• Completed IT training or comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge of hardware and software; basic networking knowledge
• Practical experience in an IT support environment
• Structured, self-organized, solution-oriented working style
• Friendly, confident demeanor and strong customer orientation
• Communication skills and willingness to work in a team
• Willingness to learn and ability to quickly ramp up on new topics
