Description

You will provide first- and second-level IT support for end users and applications for city administration, technical services, and schools. Your work includes handling service desk requests (phone, email, in person), supporting Office IT at the workplace or remotely, and installing, administering, and supporting Windows client systems and their peripherals. You will also contribute to desktop infrastructure planning, procurement, implementation, and support IT project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate the service desk: user service and end-user support (1st Level)
• Receive and process requests by phone, email, and in person
• Support Office IT applications and end users on-site or remote
• Install, administer, and support Windows-based client systems and peripherals (2nd Level)
• Assist with planning, purchasing, and implementing desktop infrastructure
• Coordinate and contribute to IT projects

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge and experience in IT support
• Knowledge of installing and configuring hardware and software
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
• Good general and technical understanding
• Strong communication skills, service orientation, resilience, and independent structured work
• Driver’s license class B
