Description

Electrical Engineering co-ops evaluate new technology, execute performance tests, build prototypes, and document feasibility results for anesthesia and respiratory care systems. The work combines structured and creative approaches to develop electrical engineering subsystems and demonstrate development feasibility. Assignments are supported by a manager and mentor.

Requirements

  • Full-time student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum 28 weeks availability

  • Willing to relocate to Madison, WI

  • Demonstrates initiative, intellectual curiosity, and confidence contributing to a team environment

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical problems clearly

  • Analytical ability and technical competency in Biomedical-Electrical and Electrical Engineering

  • Proven leadership skills and experience

  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently and in teams

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
