Description

You will work under the direction of a supervisor/mentor to support the Electric Distribution Design Center of Excellence. The internship provides real-life examples to apply principles in data analysis, modeling, and data science, including data governance, cataloging, data acquisition, data quality, data analysis, data interpretation, and interactive data visualizations.

You will also support business metadata and business rules, help influence remediation of data quality defects, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to analyze business requirements and assist with development of model strategies or solutions.

Requirements

• Graduation date of Spring 2028 or later

• Preferred bachelor’s degree: Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems Technology, or related field

• Minimum 2.5 GPA

• Valid driver’s license

• Solid skills commensurate with grade level

• Inquisitive nature and curiosity

• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures

• Strong professional ethics

• Oral and written communication skills, including technical writing

• Planning, organizing, and project management skills

• Effective decision-making skills

• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in software programs

• Analytical and abstract thinking skills

• Ability to apply data analytics theories and concepts to industrial problems
