Description

This co-op role supports electrical drawing updates, prototype/NPI/production build activities, and design review/validation efforts. The position also helps standardize control panels, schematics, and electrical designs while assisting Manufacturing Operations with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SolidWorks Electrical and DraftSight for electrical drawing updates
• Support prototype, NPI, and production build activities
• Assist Manufacturing Operations with troubleshooting, design clarifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with electrical design reviews and validation activities
• Support product line standardization of control panels, schematics, and electrical designs
• Participate in projects focused on design efficiency, quality, and process improvement

Requirements

• Pursuing BS or MS in electrical engineering, Mechatronic engineering, or related engineering field
• Currently enrolled student
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Not require Entegris immigration sponsorship (e.g., H1-B lottery) now or in the future
