Description

Provides electrical and power design support for pipeline, compressor station, and terminal/tank projects nationwide. Participates in a multidisciplinary project team in a lead role, delivering engineering and technical expertise for Oil & Gas projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical/power design efforts for pipeline, compressor station, and terminal/tank projects

  • Provide engineering and technical support to a multidisciplinary consulting team

  • Support construction, site commissioning, and start-up activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • 5–10 years of Electrical or Power Engineering experience (Oil & Gas preferred)

  • P.E. preferred

  • Proficient with cable and conduit schedules, ETAP, power equipment sizing

  • Knowledge of NFPA 70

  • Construction support, site commissioning, and start-up experience

  • Exposure to substation design is a plus

  • Experience specifying and procuring electrical equipment

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to train junior staff and communicate effectively with peers, contractors, and clients

  • Self-starter; capable of managing solo projects and collaborating with a group

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Pre-employment drug screen required

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record without restrictions

  • AutoCAD or Revit experience desired
