Description

You will support electrical engineering projects in an industrial plant environment, including electrical safety and arc-flash label audits, electrical documentation and power balance updates, and analysis of electrical/power quality data to identify energy-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Audit electrical safety and Arc Flash labels; verify lockout/tagout documentation accessibility
  • Conduct construction process observations and produce a corrective action list
  • Review and update process machine data sheets to US standards
  • Support new equipment power balance and update electrical specifications/drawing nomenclature
  • Manage Michelin drawings storage inventory (AutoCAD/PDF) and support equipment procurement/bidding summaries
  • Collect and analyze plant meter electrical usage and power quality data (power factor, active harmonic filters applications)
  • Identify opportunities to reduce energy use, including idle equipment power consumption

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering (or related) major
  • Full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college/university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Willingness to work in an industrial plant environment (Monday–Friday day shift)
  • Ability to interact professionally with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn other software systems
  • Authorized to work for the employer on an ongoing, indefinite basis; no immigration sponsorship
