Description

Own one or more IT projects end-to-end, leading planning, governance, budget/resource management, and delivery across multiple squads or Scrum teams. Partner with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to analyze requirements, evaluate feasibility, negotiate changes, remove impediments, and report progress, risks, and decisions. Ensure delivery follows Agile methodology, IT controls, and transitions successfully into BAU.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the project proposal and plan (timeframe, budget, and resource requirements).
• Collaborate with business analysts, Product Owners, technical experts, and architects to analyze requirements with the sponsor/customer and assess feasibility.
• Support, motivate, and challenge delivery squads to deliver on time and within budget from initiation through transition to BAU.
• Oversee technical, organizational, management, and financial aspects; define project governance, deliverable scope, and responsibilities.
• Report project progress at all levels (sponsor, senior management, clients) using tools such as ServiceNow, dashboards, and presentations.
• Negotiate and manage changes in project specification, budget, or scope; present proposals to secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Remove impediments, manage conflicting interests, negotiate inputs across parties, and proactively identify risks and issues.
• Continuously improve quality and/or productivity with stakeholders, ensuring delivery and documentation follow Agile methodology and standards.
• Prioritize workload across typically two or more concurrent projects.

Requirements

• Strong business and technical understanding from several infrastructure and/or application development projects.
• Proven track record leading medium to large projects across the full lifecycle: requirements, design, build, testing, client acceptance, and launch.
• Experience managing financial aspects of a project using MS Excel and tools such as ServiceNow or Clarity.
• Experience delivering in an Agile environment with Scrum delivery teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
• Proficient in project planning tools such as MS Project and Agile governance tools such as MS Azure DevOps or Jira; able to produce progress reports and capture risks, issues, and decisions.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects and/or a technical background.
