Description

The Principal BI Analyst leads analysis of advanced quantitative and qualitative data to guide business decisions for a broadband wireless ISP/fiber provider. You will design and develop reporting structures and standardized reports, and present advanced insights to senior leadership using creative, succinct data visualizations. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Use data from sources such as AWS Redshift, Azure, and Databricks to support BI needs
  • Guide data strategy across integrations, including new third-party data acquisition and integration
  • Partner early in enterprise projects to define reporting requirements and incorporate them into system design
  • Develop holistic dashboards that combine diverse data sets for senior management
  • Drive strategies that improve customer experience and business performance from data insights
  • Communicate findings and strategic recommendations verbally and in writing to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience); master’s/advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of advanced analytics experience, including SQL/ETL for complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis, and research
  • 7+ years of reporting and analytics experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • 7+ years of experience building reporting structures to support reporting and analytical projects
  • At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
