Description

You will join an IT delivery team developing executive dashboards used by business users and senior stakeholders. The platform combines financial, transactional, customer, product, risk, and sustainability data from multiple sources and presents it via tables, charts, and analytic views. The role focuses on translating complex business needs and data into clear, testable requirements for dashboard and technology solutions (not operational report production).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, testers, architects, solution designers, data-source teams, and Business Change Management to understand problems, needs, and expected outcomes.
• Define scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, business rules, and expected acceptance outcomes.
• Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings, metric definitions, and dashboard requirements.
• Analyze data sources, calculations, aggregation rules, filters, hierarchies, data quality topics, and requirements for alignment and reconciliation.
• Work with architects and solution designers to ensure requirements align with the broader platform, integration, and technology approach.
• Coordinate with data-source teams to clarify data availability, ownership, origin/lineage, quality, and delivery dependencies.
• Support Business Change Management with change impact analysis, stakeholder readiness, communication, and adoption activities.
• Clarify unclear or conflicting expectations and support stakeholders in reaching practical, aligned decisions.
• Support backlog refinement, development, testing, defect analysis, solution presentations, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure requirements cover usability, security, accessibility, performance, and other non-functional requirements.
• Maintain traceability from business goals to the delivered solution.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed teams and support consistent BA analysis standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering technology changes in the banking sector.
• Experience delivering dashboards, Business Intelligence, management information, or other data-driven applications.
• Very good ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements.
• Working knowledge of data topics including mappings, definitions, dimensions, measures, calculations, lineage, data quality, and reconciliation.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, prioritized, and testable requirements.
• Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria and supporting development and testing.
• Very good stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across architecture, data, technology delivery, and business change.
• Experience working in Agile teams across multiple locations.
• Independence; ability to challenge assumptions constructively and manage competing priorities.
