Description

You will leverage analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions across innovation, business intelligence, and data management. The role includes partnering with the business to deliver insights via dashboards and analytics tools, and enforcing data quality and governance through metadata, lineage, and security/data access governance. You will use open-source/digital technologies, scripting, and AWS services to enable self-service data frameworks for data consumers.

Responsibilities

• Use open-source/digital technologies to mine complex, large, and varied data sources and platforms

• Build data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service for data consumers

• Use analytics to provide meaningful insights for business strategy

• Partner with business teams to translate needs into metrics, tools, techniques, and data visualizations

• Enforce data quality management principles including metadata, lineage, and business definitions

• Collaborate with technology teams on security mechanisms and data access governance

• Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field plus at least 5 years of data analytics experience, or Master’s degree in a quantitative field plus at least 3 years of data analytics experience (degree expected by start date)

• At least 3 years of experience with at least one scripting language

• At least 3 years of experience using a business intelligence visualization tool

• At least 3 years of experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms
