Description

Partner with Finance, IT, and the broader organization to centralize forecasting and accounting processes and reporting. Act as a central support and subject matter expert: guide solution design, document and implement process improvements, and coordinate end-to-end business systems thinking to meet strategic and operational goals. Lead requirement gathering with end users, manage testing and signoff, support production issues, and enable adoption through training and education sessions.

Responsibilities

• Develop application governance, strategy, and vision using finance process understanding

• Author business requirements with end users and communicate them to IT

• Coordinate and lead functional and user acceptance testing and capture signoff

• Lead tool adoption via education sessions and end-user training

• Perform domain-specific analysis of technical problems and recommend resolution actions

• Support end users with production issues and enable self-sufficiency

• Collaborate with IT on system integrations and provide ongoing business support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

• Finance process methodologies: budgeting, variance analysis, driver-based planning

• Database design, development, and administration to analyze requirements and build logical system solutions

• Analytics and data platforms using SQL, Python, and R for extraction, analysis, and interpretation

• Data visualization and dashboards using Tableau

• SDLC and Agile methodologies for system design, implementation, and continuous improvement

• Business analysis and stakeholder interviews to define scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and implementation plans
