Description

You will translate business needs into clear, structured and evidence-based requirements. Working with business leaders, architects and technology teams, you will analyze processes, data and controls, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic change across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business areas and uncover underlying business needs

• Elicit, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements, business rules and dependencies; create use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria

• Map current and target processes, roles, controls and data flows; perform root-cause and gap analysis to simplify, standardize, automate and scale operations

• Collaborate with Enterprise, Business Process and Solution Architects to align changes with agreed principles and target operating models

• Work with IT analysts, developers, QA and data experts on delivery artifacts (specifications, wireframes, test scenarios)

• Capture business data requirements, quality expectations and reporting needs with Data Governance and data owners

• Structure change requests and support transparent prioritization based on value, urgency and risk

• Facilitate workshops, resolve ambiguity and communicate complex topics in clear business language

• Maintain high-quality analysis artifacts (requirements, process maps, user journeys, decision logs, change impacts)

• Support initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, client service, scalability and digital enablement

Requirements

• Education in business administration, finance, economics, information systems or similar OR equivalent experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior BA in complex, regulated and cross-functional environments

• Strong analytical skills and ability to distinguish root causes from symptoms

• Hands-on experience with business analysis and process-modelling techniques (BPMN, user stories, process-mapping tools)

• Understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, data concepts and integrations

• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including challenging assumptions constructively

• High standards of documentation, structure and traceability

• Commercial judgment to assess value, risk, client impact and dependencies

• Curiosity, adaptability, and continuous-improvement mindset

• Fluent English

• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services is a strong advantage
