Description

Senior Business Analyst to drive business transformation initiatives by gathering and managing requirements and supporting enterprise application modernization. The role partners with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and Salesforce teams to deliver scalable solutions, including Salesforce CRM capabilities, integrations, and data analysis. Strong capital markets / primary markets execution knowledge and production support capability are required.

Role Description / Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
  • Lead requirement workshops and translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform AS-IS and TO-BE business process analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • Work with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Architects to design and implement CRM solutions supporting business objectives.
  • Analyze Salesforce business processes (Lead Management, Opportunity Management, Case Management, Customer Service, Workflow Automation, Reporting).
  • Define integration requirements between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, ETL tools, and middleware platforms.
  • Facilitate Agile/SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Support data migration, data mapping, data quality assessment, and system integration initiatives.
  • Develop and execute UAT strategies, coordinate business validation activities, and manage defect resolution.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones while ensuring alignment across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with data, architecture, development, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, reports, and business insights using Tableau, Salesforce Reports, and SQL.

Operational Excellence & Monitoring

  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring key business and application performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service levels.
  • Analyze operational trends, incidents, and process bottlenecks to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Salesforce, Tableau, and SQL to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process optimization, governance, compliance, and production support.
  • Promote continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making, performance monitoring, and Agile/SAFe best practices.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 12+ years of IT experience.
  • Capital Markets / Primary Markets deal execution knowledge required (5+ years preferable).
  • Strong understanding of New Issue, Book Building, and Syndication workflows in Fixed Income and Equities.
  • Prior experience providing desk-aligned production support in a trading floor/capital markets environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills; ability to resolve critical production issues quickly under pressure.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; confident interaction with front-office users.
  • Knowledge of bond fundamentals and capital markets execution processes is mandatory.
  • Ability to document workflows, create knowledge repositories, and provide effective training.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple issues and requests simultaneously.
  • Prior experience with vendor platforms for deal execution (Ipreo / Primary Portal / Dealogic) is a plus.
