Description

The Business Analyst will bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams by gathering complex requirements and translating business objectives into detailed functional specifications, workflows, and user stories. You will act as the primary liaison between business units and technical architecture/development teams, while keeping product backlogs and project documentation up to date in Agile tooling. Life Sciences/Healthcare experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and interviews to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements

• Translate high-level business objectives into functional specifications, workflows, and user stories

• Manage stakeholder communication across multidisciplinary business units and technical teams

• Maintain product backlogs and project documentation in JIRA and Confluence

• Support QA by defining acceptance criteria and contributing to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Functional or Business Analyst in complex software/IT environments

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Management, Mathematics, or a related field (highly valued)

• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks and formal requirements gathering methodologies

• Expert usage of JIRA and Confluence and data mapping tools

• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Proven background, training, or project experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Healthcare

• Project Management or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., PMI-PBA, CBAP, Scrum PO)
