Description

Join the Engineering Technologist team to lead, support, and influence the strategy and execution of Mechanical Engineering software tools across the organization. You will serve as the go-to authority for PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill, providing expert guidance on tooling investigations, prototyping strategies, and data generation that drive product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tooling strategy by shaping organizational direction and influencing executive investment priorities; forecast tool needs and budget requirements

  • Act as SME for PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill to drive CAD governance and standardization; evaluate new PTC software versions and recommend adoption

  • Provide hands-on engineering support as the first responder for Creo, Windchill, ANSYS, and related tool issues; debug alongside engineers and mentor junior engineers

  • Plan and drive PTC education and training requirements; create playbooks, best practices, work instructions, and standardized workflows

  • Partner on Windchill and Creo connectivity to support the digital thread, digital twin, and model-based engineering initiatives across internal, ODM, and hybrid development models

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or engineering tools administration

  • Deep expertise in PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill

  • Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawing practices, product lifecycles, and digital thread/digital twin concepts

  • Proven ability to debug Creo, Windchill, ANSYS, and related tools

  • Demonstrated leadership and influence to drive CAD governance and align executives on tooling investments

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills for training and documentation; effective interfacing with engineers, managers, IT, ISG, ODMs, vendors, and senior executives
