Description

Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency Java services for Cisco’s next-generation CPQ platform and large-scale commerce systems. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams using agile practices to deliver customer-focused solutions. Build and support distributed systems and integrate commerce platforms with enterprise applications such as billing, invoicing, tax, contracts, supply chain, and manufacturing to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

Benefits

• Starting salary range (U.S./Canada): $151,600.00 to $222,400.00 (excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of software development experience building web applications and integrations
• Experience designing and implementing high-throughput, low-latency Java services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot (or equivalent)
• Experience building distributed systems with availability, latency, and scalability requirements
• Experience with CI/CD and container orchestration tools: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Spinnaker, Docker
• Practical experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) and proficiency with MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and cloud-native technologies
