Description

You will develop control and regulation concepts for modern machines and plants and program machine controllers with an emphasis on drive technology. The role includes commissioning PLC and drive systems at customer sites in Germany and abroad, plus on-site or remote troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop control and regulation concepts for advanced machines and systems
  • Program machine and plant control with focus on drive technology
  • Commission control and drive engineering at customer locations (in Germany and internationally)
  • Perform error analysis and fault remediation on-site or via remote support

Requirements

  • Degree in automation or electrical engineering or comparable technician qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • In-depth PLC knowledge, especially Siemens SIMATIC Step7 TIA Portal and Classic (additional systems such as Allen-Bradley, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff are a plus)
  • Know-how in drive technology (e.g., SINAMICS S120/S210/G120)
  • Experience implementing safety-related functions in control and drive engineering
  • Willingness to travel (~30% national and international)
  • Very good German and English skills (min. C1)
  • High motivation and readiness to learn; enjoy creating solutions together as a team
