Description

Design and optimize vertical CNC machining centers and automation solutions, with independent detail construction optimized for space, quality, and cost. Perform required calculations and document results, and create manufacturing-ready drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical documentation. Coordinate closely with upstream and downstream departments.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and improve machining centers and automation solutions

• Perform detail design optimized for available space, quality, and cost

• Carry out required engineering calculations and document them

• Create manufacturing-ready drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation

• Work closely with upstream and downstream departments

Requirements

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering or comparable technical training with further training to become a machine construction technician

• Hands-on experience designing sheet metal parts and assemblies

• Knowledge of sizing fluid systems

• Confident use of 3D CAD systems, ideally Solidworks
