Description

Lead GM’s automation software library strategy for scalable vehicle-level test automation across vehicle systems and subsystems. Define and deliver automation software library solutions, providing technical leadership for design analysis, software integration, and verification testing. Establish and communicate engineering best practices across the software community while staying current on new technologies and competitive products.

Role Description / What You Will Do

• Define Python automation libraries and framework enablers for scalable vehicle-level testing

• Establish and enforce clean, efficient, well-documented coding standards

• Perform code reviews and drive engineering best practices

• Collaborate with global teams to enhance automation architecture and tooling

• Mentor and develop a high-performing software automation team

• Partner with virtual engineering teams to develop next-generation SDV tools and processes

• Lead technical workshops to solve complex problems and drive innovation

• Drive continuous improvement of enterprise-scale automation pipelines and quality frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in software development (C++, C#, Python, etc.)

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation development and frameworks

• Experience working with open-source and/or commercial automation tools
