Description

Build and scale analytics data systems that enable data-driven decisions across the company. You will own the analytics data strategy end-to-end—architecture, data models, delivery patterns, and the monitoring/testing needed for trustworthy reporting and datasets. You’ll also lead the AI roadmap for internal tools powered by agentic and LLM-based approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Own analytics data strategy end-to-end and drive it into production

  • Define data models, tooling investments, and delivery patterns balancing speed, accuracy, and scalability

  • Lead agentic/LLM tooling strategy for internal tools (prompt and data standards plus trustworthy infrastructure)

  • Define domain data strategy: key metrics, underlying data, and modeling/naming/usage standards

  • Set data contracts and ownership boundaries for a shared source of truth

  • Build monitoring, testing, and reconciliation systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and speed

  • Translate raw data into actionable business insight via cross-functional partnership

  • Establish data modeling and data-quality best practices and mentor the broader org as an IC lead

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience as a data or software engineer building data warehouses, distributed data systems, or event-driven architectures

  • Ability to design and implement dimensional, Data Vault, or ledger-style data models

  • Hands-on expertise with ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and observability tooling

  • Experience operating cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift), including schema design, cost optimization, and tuning

  • Production-grade Python or SQL experience and integration with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows

  • Experience partnering across engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders

  • Self-starter able to own both technical design and operational outcomes

  • Live within commuting distance of the specified hubs

Compensation

$207,000/year to $290,000/year + benefits + equity (US-based applicants).
