Description

You will support the software development team by maintaining and extending the IT infrastructure, including network architecture with segmentation and firewalls. You’ll implement automation scripts (Python, JavaScript, VB) and build/maintain internal engineering tools (Python) to improve everyday project efficiency. You will also support integration and commissioning for systems involving PLC/SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Support software development
• Maintain and further develop IT infrastructure, including network architecture with segmentation and firewalls (internal and external)
• Implement scripts and automation (Python, JavaScript, VB, etc.)
• Solve daily technical questions
• Develop and maintain internal engineering tools (Python)
• Integrate and support system commissioning (PLC / SCADA / …)

Requirements

• Completed degree or training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Motivation, resilience, and self-initiative
• Enjoy working in a team
• Very good German; English is desirable
• Valid Class B driver’s license
• Relevant experience optional; training available
