Description

You will work independently in a faculty IT department, managing computer infrastructure, designing and administering network infrastructure, supporting cybersecurity activities, and working with faculty/university data sources per agreement with the department head.

Responsibilities

• Manage faculty computer infrastructure

• Design and administer faculty network infrastructure

• Support cybersecurity-related activities

• Work with faculty and university data sources

Requirements

• University degree

• IT experience is an advantage (graduates welcome)

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems; Linux knowledge is an advantage

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365

• Active Czech and English

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to plan, analyze, work in a team, and learn new technologies

• Good civic record

• Knowledge of the university environment is an advantage
