• Role: Internal IT Specialist

Description

You will be the main technology point of contact for supporting users and handling practical IT tasks—from setting up warehouse barcode scanners to extracting and visualizing data for reports. You’ll troubleshoot daily technology issues, communicate solutions clearly to non-IT colleagues, and help administer Microsoft 365. The role also includes working with Power BI and APIs, and supporting ERP process improvements in Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for users, including PC installations and troubleshooting

• Perform hardware and peripheral tasks such as printer firmware updates and barcode scanner setup

• Administer MS 365 user accounts and licenses

• Work with data: understand database basics, API principles, and build meaningful Power BI visualizations

• Gather user requirements and propose process optimizations in Business Central (training provided)

• Support users with day-to-day technology blockers and explain solutions in an understandable way

Requirements

• Exposure to multiple IT areas (networks, hardware, software, data, and programming)

• MS 365 orientation and ability to administer users and licenses

• Database basics and understanding of API principles; Power BI familiarity

• Willingness to work hands-on with hardware (PC setup, printer firmware updates, barcode scanner configuration)

• Strong communication skills and patience when explaining IT to non-technical users

• Independent problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask for help

• Plus: basic programming knowledge (e.g., C#, Python, AL)

• Advantage (not required): knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central
