Description

You will serve as the right hand to the leadership of the publishing house, driving digitalization, automation, and innovation. The role focuses on simplifying and improving workflows, managing automation projects from idea to implementation, and exploring meaningful AI use in day-to-day operations. You will connect business teams with IT, translating needs into practical assignments and using data to support better decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and increase efficiency of processes and propose concrete solutions
  • Manage automation projects from first idea through deployment in practice
  • Find meaningful everyday use cases for AI in publishing operations
  • Act as a liaison between business and IT; understand team needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and co-create solutions
  • Work with data, build dashboards, and prepare analyses to improve decision-making
  • Connect people and manage projects across departments
  • Monitor new technologies and tools and test where they can save time, money, or effort

Requirements

  • Notice whether things work and think about how they could work better
  • Ability to take an unclear problem, structure it, and reach a specific solution
  • Ability to set priorities and see initiatives through to the end
  • Strong understanding of data and ability to use it for decision-making
  • Ability to think about practical uses of technology, automation, and AI
  • Communication ability with both business stakeholders and IT
  • Reliability and independence; not requiring precise instructions for each step
  • Willingness to learn on the go and take on tasks that may be new to you
