Description

You’ll help build and evolve a team while driving a strategic transformation of a system from monolithic architecture to microservices hosted in a private cloud. The role centers on designing scalable, secure, and resilient distributed architectures and supporting engineering teams with architectural guidance and DevOps culture improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create a migration strategy from monolith to microservices based on private cloud

• Manage and plan for technical debt

• Provide teams with architectural guidance to keep delivery aligned with business value

• Support design and documentation of system architecture and introduce/implement new technologies

• Support process improvements across software delivery and strengthen DevOps practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and overseeing system architecture

• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring

• Ability to build scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed architectures

• Knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices

• Experience with cloud and infrastructure automation

• Ability to lead code reviews, mentoring, and architecture workshops

• Ability to co-create technology roadmaps and evaluate technology risks
