Description

You will co-create and implement changes in a critical insurance platform for property insurance, helping migrate from a monolithic architecture to private-cloud microservices. You’ll manage technical debt, shape architectural vision and standards, and provide expert guidance to engineering teams through mentoring, consulting, and code/architecture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program changes for a key insurance system

• Create a migration strategy from monolith to private-cloud microservices

• Manage and plan technical debt

• Co-create direction and vision for modern IT solutions

• Mentor and consult delivery teams to keep architectural consistency

• Support feasibility analyses and implementation assumptions

• Design and document system architecture

• Source and implement new technologies

• Develop standards and ensure compliance with them

• Support process improvements and DevOps culture

Requirements

• 5+ years designing and overseeing system architecture

• Very strong Java and Spring knowledge

• Ability to design scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed architectures

• Very strong knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices

• Cloud experience and infrastructure automation

• Ability to lead code reviews, mentoring, and architecture workshops

• End-to-end observability experience

• Practical API governance knowledge

• Practical DDD (Domain-Driven Design) knowledge

• Event-Driven Architecture experience

• English level at least B2
