Description

You will strengthen the Equity DevOps area by supporting and maintaining business-critical equity trading applications in production. The role includes acting as first point of contact for trading desks, handling complex incidents, and working within Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. You will also maintain monitoring/alerting/observability, drive automation and operational improvements, and keep technical and operational documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support business-critical equity trading applications in production
• Serve as first point of contact for trading desks for trading and data-related issues
• Handle complex incidents across multiple teams and technology areas
• Work according to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
• Ensure system stability during high-volume and volatile market conditions
• Maintain and extend monitoring, alerting, and observability
• Drive automation and operational improvements
• Create and maintain operational and technical documentation
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and vendor support teams

Requirements

• Experience supporting business-critical trading applications in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of Order Management Systems / Electronic Trading, or strong interest
• Experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management (ITIL or similar)
• Understanding of application lifecycle and production support
• Interest in automation and reducing recurring operational tasks
• Curiosity about end-to-end operation of electronic and automated trading systems
• Hands-on operational experience with Windows and Linux
• Hands-on operational experience with Python and PowerShell
• Intermediate or basic understanding of FIX protocol
• Intermediate SQL skills for analysis and troubleshooting
